We are looking for energetic young talents to join our team to launch a new startup in the financial services space. You will help us identify, engage, consult and sign-up retail outlets / small businesses across a wide spectrum of categories.
You should ideally be a recent graduate in a business-oriented diploma / degree, or someone looking to kick start a career in business development / sales. Any prior retail or contact center experience could be relevant.
You must be confident of your capabilities, and should not be shy to deal with people from all walks of life.

About the role:
- Proactively approach business owners to sign them up as a location which will accept payments using our mobile money service. This includes restaurant chains, cinemas, major attractions, retail brands, leisure, beauty, wellness, healthcare, and other small business services
- Present the mobile money solution as the unique, captivating and leading opportunity for local businesses to acquire new customers
- Build your own pipeline by drawing upon established networks, relationship and your independent research
- Construct and negotiate offers that meet expectations of business partners
- Overcome objections to ensure a mutually beneficial deal is closed in line with our win-win philosophy
- Achieve KPI targets for monthly and quarterly sales revenue and number of merchants on-boarded per month
What we'd like to see in the candidate:
- Hands on experience selling both face-to-face and cold calling to close sales
- Experience having previously worked in advertising, media, online marketing, e-commerce sales and/or hospitality or retail sales is an added advantage but not essential
- Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, target driven sales environment with evidence of consistent and current success
- Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability, with evidence of personal success in achieving goals
- An outgoing personality
